I use FreshBooks to timely invoice customers
Yesterday, I wrote about the importance of timely invoicing customers. Today, I’d like to recommend a service I use to manage all of my invoices – FreshBooks.

FreshBooks allows you to easily create and manage invoices, track time, share documents, and service clients.
Two things I really like: 1) you can send paper invoices via USPS as well as electronic invoices via email 2) customers can log in and pay invoices via debit or credit card. Both give you a lot of options to timely invoice customers and receive payment.
Also, FreshBooks offers a lot of integration partners and customizations. The price is fair and the look-n-feel is professional.
